Un job bientôt stable, un appartement confortable et un copain en or. Qu’est-ce que Kora pourrait demander de plus ? Certainement pas des problèmes. L’ennui, c’est qu’après avoir assisté à un un rituel magique moderne, Kora voit s’effondrer tout ce qu’elle a soigneusement bâti autour d’elle. Alors qu’elle tente d’expliquer rationnellement chaque phénomène surnaturel dont elle est la victime, Kora va croiser le chemin d’un étrange inconnu. Accepter son aide, c’est accepter les règles d’un monde dont elle refuse pourtant l’existence. L’autre alternative ? La destruction du monde, rien que ça.
