Céleste vit à Montréal où elle est heureuse entre son travail qui la passionne et ses deux enfants. Nicolas, entièrement dévoué à son boulot exigeant, survit après une rupture douloureuse en région parisienne. Elle est aussi enthousiaste et optimiste qu'il est cynique et arrogant. Ils n'ont pas grand chose en commun mis à part cet amour de jeunesse intense et passionnel qu'ils ont partagé.
